When the Other Driver Can’t Pay, Your Policy Has to.
Georgia’s minimum liability limit is $25,000. A single ambulance ride and ER visit can blow right past that. We open your own UM / UIM coverage — and stack it.

Example only. Your coverage and stacking options depend on your policies — we review all of them at no cost.

Two Coverages, One Job: Protect You.
Georgia requires insurers to offer this protection unless you reject it in writing. Most drivers have it and don’t know it — we find it and we open it.
Uninsured Motorist
Applies when the at-fault driver has zero liability insurance, can’t be identified (hit-and-run), or their insurer denies coverage. Also covers you as a pedestrian or bicyclist.
Underinsured Motorist
Activates when the at-fault driver’s policy limits aren’t enough to cover your damages. Georgia’s minimum is $25,000 — rarely enough for a real injury.
Your UM / UIM Coverage Follows You Everywhere.
It’s not just about driving your own car. Check every scenario below.
Driving and hit by an uninsured or underinsured driver.
In someone else’s car when another driver is at fault.
Struck as a pedestrian or cyclist. Your auto policy still protects you.
The at-fault driver fled and can’t be identified.
Their carrier went bankrupt or denied coverage in bad faith.
We Stack Every Policy You Can Reach.
Georgia is an “add-on” stacking state for most UM policies. Every vehicle you insure, every household policy, and any umbrella can potentially combine.

The exact math depends on your policy language and the at-fault driver’s limits. We read every page and run the numbers for free.

Your Own Insurer Is Not Your Friend Here.
A UM claim is you vs. your insurance company. Here are the tactics we see most:
“Your injuries aren’t really from the crash.”
“You didn’t need that MRI, that surgery, that therapy.”
Independent medical exams with a physician they pay.
“It was already bad before — we don’t owe for that.”

Frequently Asked Questions
I didn’t pick UM coverage — do I have it?+
Probably yes. Under O.C.G.A. § 33-7-11, Georgia requires insurers to offer UM coverage. If you didn’t reject it in writing, it’s on your policy.
Will my rates go up if I make a UM claim?+
Georgia law prohibits surcharging a policyholder for a not-at-fault UM claim.
What’s the deadline to file?+
Generally two years for the injury claim under O.C.G.A. § 9-3-33, but contractual UM deadlines can be shorter. Call immediately.
Can I really stack multiple policies?+
Often yes. Multiple vehicles on one policy, separate policies in the household, and umbrella coverage can all contribute. We read each policy.
What about hit-and-run?+
UM applies. In some cases physical contact with the phantom vehicle is required — we know the exceptions and how to prove them.
